Founded in 2013, Lumira is the manifestation of a life-long affair with beautiful objects and the differences small details make to our everyday lives. The power of fragrance to trigger the senses, a memory and even a person’s emotional state are the inspirations that led to the creation of the Lumira brand.

BALINESE YLANG YLANG

An ode to sensuality and romance, this scent harnesses the renowned aphrodisiac properties of the Golden Ylang Ylang flower, traditionally used to adorn the hair of Indonesian brides. Its narcotic effect is emboldened by Jasmine Sambac and Black Orchid, and crowned with a delicate aromatic spice.

The vivid smokiness of incense, coupled with the rich earthiness of velvety Sandalwood and Patchouli, make this fragrance truly intoxicating.

I’ve been an inveterate traveller as long as I can remember - the promise of discovery, adventure and liberation have led me to travel as much as possible.

The ability to immerse one’s self in a different environment, culture or mindset is a gift that delivers joy, perspective and, occasionally, enlightenment. Travel allows me to indulge my design passion, drawing inspiration from the diversity of landscape, fashion and architecture that our world offers.

More recently, as a parent, the notion of travel excites
me with the anticipation of the future memories I’ll create with my family.

With Lumira, I seek to use scent to evoke memories of places been or inspire the next destination.
